Been told today mine has finished production and now with the carrier, should be at the dealer 23rd May.

How long does it normally take from production to Uk delivery?

My car has arrived at the dealer today!!!

Hopefully I'll be able to see it! However might be quite painful being able to see but not take her home!

Does anyone know how much the performance seats are in the uk? I found them on the website but couldn't find info on them. They look great on the pics on the other thread on here.

I ordered a BSM on Tuesday. Dealer has quoted July or August delivery. I've got to go there on Saturday to sign some paperwork, handover a deposit and hopefully find out a more accurate delivery date. Its the same dealership chain as alice's and they told me about a AW delivery to Guernsey in the next few weeks. They also have one other order.

The next couple of months will give me a chance to sell my S2000

My dealer isn't part of a chain outside of guernsey and jersey?!

Maybe it is just the main BMW dealer that gets all the new bmws from Europe before they come to the Channel islands? I know that the cars do come via the mainland, so I'm sure that's it, plus I have been told I am the only one in guernsey having one and at the time I was the only one in the channel islands - maybe jersey has got one now.

@joer - did it look as good as you expected?

Southlight posted a while back the German catalogue and price list and including 19% tax, each seat costs €1575. Still painful.

I would only consider them if they had orange stitching.

The AW one I saw a few weeks ago also looked great! You won't be disappointed!

Will go back next week when it's nice and clean!
