Press Release - United BMW to cease International Shipping
May 11th, 2011, unitedBMWonline.com (United BMW Roswell) will cease delivery to International customers until further notice. Upon review of 2011’s International ROI, we have determined that it is not cost efficient to continue. We have run into several incidents where the United States Postal Service has sent packages to different locations not even close to the address marked on the package. Additionally, they have damaged several items and despite being insured, have refused to pay the claim. Combined with this frustration, FedEx has begun invoicing us (United BMW) for customs instead of the customer who is purchasing the part. Since this is unknown to us at the time, of course we were not charging extra. Rising fuel charges also play a large role. Unfortunately to those of you who have been buying from us for several years, we cannot continue to sell to you at this time. Should changes arise, we will re-evaluate and possibly begin shipping International again. The change will not happen overnight, but we expect to be completely phased out of International shipments by May 18th.
Best regards, Daniel Miles unitedBMWonline.com 678-832-4667

The USPS international office is the WORST. When I filed a claim, they lost it TWICE. Then, when I filed it a third time, they told me it was filed too late! I had to get my Congressman's office involved, and even then it took months for them to pay, cause they continued to lose my claim at every step of the process. They are the most incompetent office EVAH.

Great job USPS! Interesting fact: The US Treasury does not trust the USPS to ship currency, they use FEDEX or UPS (Can't remember which). Kinda makes you feel good about the Gov't doesn't it.

Excellent! Welcome back. Will you ship brake discs again, specifically a set of E60 M5 discs?
