Nice Dyno gains! HUGE over stock , I am just curious will we even be able to get traction?? Big gains, or do we all need to get Better tires for traction w/ the Big Gains?

I just got my 135i, been in the 30s but dry/clear roads and just spins 1st/2nd gear in the upper Rpms, I couldn't imagine w/ more Power the traction control would be going Crazy!!! I came from a 335Xi so traction was never an issue, hoping just since cold temps..do these hookup fine in warmer temps?

Glad to see Cobb AP! I ran the Cobb AP on prior WRX STIs, Great Product!

Thank you for sharing Dyno !!

I wanted to jump in and get feedback from the users that were waiting for support. Our latest firmware update should have added support to all ROMs that we have recieved to date. If you are STILL waiting for support, please PM us and let us know that your AccessPORT is still not functioning properly. Do note, that we will honor the money back gaurantee starting when your unit becomes functional!

We will be adding more tunes to the database as we have more and more vehicles on our dyno. Be sure to check out the Dyno Database for dyno graphs on Off the Shelf and tuned vehicles!

Is there any chance of the BMW dealer noticing the flash even if it has been flashed back to the stock version? I would think the car would at least record a log/history of flashes or other information that would indicate that things have been functioning outside of the stock limits. There must be traces left behind.

I wouldnt mind a bit of a guarantee also. Much like I had with APR with my GTI flash, they guaranteed that if you ever brought the car in for service and was denied due to detecting the flash, APR would completely refund the cost of the flash ($650) at the time

Lets see. You can lose your warranty and walk away with nothing......or lose lose your warranty and put $1,000 in your pocket. Given those two choices, I know which one Im taking.

Questions for Cobb and/or current users:

1 - How much adaption time does the car/ECU need after being flashed?

2 - Looking at the FAQ an intake is OK for Stage 1, and a catback exhaust (stock cats) is OK for Stage 1 - are both still OK for Stage 1 or would I need to wait for Stage 2 maps?

i'm curious about the boost control/overshooting boost scenarios. it seems to me like actual wastegate control is a more ideal boost management protocol, but i haven't fully researched cobb's methods. if i'm overlooking posts in this thread or e90post, i apologize....there's definitely a lot to sift through.
