I bought a m135i the other day. It's a really fast car, and so easy to drive. If you love the smaller hatchback then I would definitely recommend getting one. I got my 14 plate for just under £20k. It hits 60 in little over 5 seconds which is very impressive. I've tried uploading a pic but was unable to for some reason so I'll post a link to it here: http://msportdriver.com/share/general/16.
Let me know what you think... |

Looks like it's been about a year since the last Roll Call. With that and all the M2 sales talk out there I was wondering how many of us Original buyers there are left on the forum.
I still have my VO 1M. She turned 7500 miles a short time ago. My 1M along with my 1988 e30 M3 were part of a 30 year comparison test this summer by the Everyday Driver team. They tested every version of the M3, including the F82 M4. Bonus: The M2 was also included in this comparo. I may or may not have had the opportunity to drive the M2, I'm officially not allowed to say at this point. This video comparo is Due out around Halloween on Vimeo and Bluray. It was a fun video shoot. I won't give away the winner of this now. It's great to see how much activity this forum still generates. Our 1M's are modern day classic BMW's and will always be.

Traded in August. Multifactorial decision. Debated selling last year and then this time had no regrets. First time without a BMW in the house and I have to say I am actually relieved. My Rover sales and vehicle experience thus far have been fantastic. True luxury and genuinely fantastic dealer experience. Very excellent trade and the M went to a local enthusiast.

Still here
Sold and came back. Second one 16,700 miles and I periodically keep in touch with the owner of my first one. Great memories and great car. Met 1MGator in Germany and our cars shared the same boat on the way over with RedAdair. Have driven 1Ms in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Lichenstein, Canada and across the US from Northeast to Southwest. I must have some sort of record now! : )

I've still got mine! I've got about 30k miles on it now and not driving it much. Every time I get in it I'm reminded of what a crazy little car BMW made. It puts a smile on my face every single time!

Over 7k miles now - still enjoying it and still a great car - just need to drive it more. Seriously considering ordering an M2 with ED but definitely keeping the 1M!

When the 1st reports of lesser steering wheel feedback came in, I knew I'll be passing on the M2's sunroof that I still miss a little DD-ing.
