To get the 1m parts, can you just walk into a dealer and order them without having the vin#? Or where can they be purchase besides the dealer?

..been following the thread, any chance these repaired cars will be put up for sale? Can that even be done legally? I wold buy a wrecked one right now if I could locate one!

I would be tempted to keep the first and ESPECIALLY last production coupes if I was in that wonderful situation haha. Wouldnt surprise me if the special ones stay with him

Just a thought .... ever considered putting a DCT in one of the Ms? Someone would do it eventually. You might as well be the first! |

I'm not sure that someone would try to put a dct in one of these but I think it's only a matter of time that you'll see someone try to stuff an m3 v8 in one....the rails and shock towers are identical as is the front subframe.... with a little modification and relocation of a few items it can be done....
does anyone out there know how much more heavier that v8 engine would be as compared to the 6 thats in there now....it would be interesting to see how much more weight you would add to the front and how that would change the handling....... |
