well i took delivery on 5/28

and mine came this past fri, but i was out of town, so its at a relatives house. I will get to see it this weekend

I got mine last week. My car was a week 17 build.

It's a pretty cool piece IMO, and I think there will be certain people out there who will appreciate it if the time ever comes when I sell the 135.

But...when that time comes to sell your 1....will you let the book go with it or keep it for yourself ????????????
Personally, I plan on keeping my book forever.

AND...you know guys that if you don't post your book number, you don't get entered on the master list (post #119).
So give em up :wink:

Here too., just got it a few days ago. Cert # 3091. ED pickup 05/19/08 and final delivery @ Savage BMW, CA 07/12/08. Beautiful book (and yes i smelled it too

I'm not sure if I'll let it go or not. It probably depends on the condition of the car at the time I sell it. If it's still mint and I'm demanding top dollar, I'll probably let it go. If I'm trading it in I'll just hang on to it.

There are two boxes? I got one that looks like the book but next day a second comes? Looks like the shape of maybe a DVD/CD box holder or something? Anyone get two from BMW Information - NJ address?

As the keeper of the master certificate list I am faced with a question about 5 or 6 digit certificate numbers. Until yestersday I assumed that all were 6 digit numbers, but after seeing a pic of number 00001, I'm not sure any more...so..............
Is you cert really #02271 or is it #002271 ?
