Seems like most current options for the 1 are like a square peg in a round hole...These wheels look like they may fit that round hole...Don't know about you, but I like mine to fit in the round hole...

Carlos post WAY back that 19's would be cheaper because they have the tooling for it already, where the 18's would require all new tooling.
I'm in for VS8's only. I already have VS7's on my wife's 335, and they look small due to the wheel design. Now we're talking 18's on a car that's pretty similar in size, they'll look tiny. |

Since this group buy is limited to VS7's I've split off a thread for those interested only in VS8's:

Is this still happening? My car will he here in a few weeks, and I'm kinda inclined to do something else, as this seems like vaporware to me

Square tire setup aside, is a 9.0R wheel pushing it in terms of width?

I just hope these wheels are ready by July.
Are there pictures of the different colors available? I checked the forums and the MORR website, but they are all silver. I really want gunmetal or something close to it. |

NEW color samples in. Diamond Black and holy crikey do they look sweet.
Random pics in different lighting conditions. OK so as I have said before. These are pics of VS7's for the E90 crowd, Carlos is working through a group buy for VS8's for them currently. These are samples for color purposes to help them decide on the wheel finish. But clearly this helps us decide too once the time comes. When we start our official group buy I will organize and consolidate the color choices for easier selection. Something they are also doing on the E90 forum is listing the car, color of the car, and their wheel finish choice as a way to see what way everyone is going. A pretty good idea that we will likely adopt here too. This sort of format - 1. new_one - E82 - Alpine White - Signature (Black) Again, as Carlos pushes through his R&D we will update this information thread. Once completed I will start a new thread for the actual VS7 group buy with all the specifics defined as best we can. Enjoy!

It's going to be a long wait, but count me in for VS7 18.5, Gunmetal.
