Ugh, can't say that I have a good feeling for RFTs now: TPMS activated indicating a flat and after some checking, my passenger side rear picked up a nail. After getting the tire pressure back to normal, I drove around looking for an open tire shop (most are closed on Sunday) and finally found one.
When they pulled the tire, the inner sidewall showed that there was cracked, so now the tire has to be replaced... Only after three months of ownership! I think if it were a non-RFT, the sidewall wouldn't have cracked and all I would've needed was a patch for the nail... Groan.

Put the wheels on it today, for a very short stint in summer mode. I was gone for the last 6 months, so that's why I didn't put them on until now.
Here's a crappy Instagram pic for now. The car is filthy. |

20% tint in rear windshield, 35% on all side windows, full detail and polish of paint. Previous owner apparently used sandpaper towels to dry the car :furious:

After getting my new tire installed, I had to wash the car.... To clean up and dress the new tire and wash the greasy crud the installer left on my wheel, door handle, and fender.
BTW, it looks like the Power Lock is holding up after the fifth wash: the water is still beading and just rolls off after rinsing.

Technically this was yesterday, but here are a couple pics of what we did to my 135i, thanks to the help of my dad and brother. Click on the thumbnails for higher res.
Added the Scopione CF front lip and temporarily removed the stock spoiler. Will be adding a **********s CF spoiler hopefully tomorrow. |

CF spoiler from **********s. I love this thing, it looks and fits great. Used 3M automotive tape, took 2 attempts and some retaping, but we got it on there pretty well. I put workout weights on top of it (with towels in between) to weigh it down a bit while it set. Although it really didn't need it, once it stuck it wasn't going anywhere.
I only had an iPhone pic from Instagram, will hopefully take more pics tomorrow. |

Break-in oil change at 1500 miles... Took all of 30 minutes.
No different than changing the oil on my E36 other than the fact I had to use ramps to get my 128i up high enough for me to crawl under.

Washed the car today... The Menzerna Power Lock still appears to be holding up: the water still beads and comes off in sheets... Impressive.

Installed a dual USB power source in the headliner to power GoPro and phone cradle, using DIYs for radar detector installs. Thanks to the many authors and posters for the tips there! Nicely tucked power cables now, no more ugly wires from the dashboard
