Discount? Really? Are they really sold out then? How much discount did you get? 5%/10%?

Picked mine up today at 8am. AW with plenty of options. Put some miles on the clock today and much prefer it to the latest M3 I had. Feels a fair bit quicker in everyday driving.

My dealer says all Uk production sold and they could have sold more cars if they could have got hold of them especially now that people can see a car in the flesh.

Totally agree Clive, but for them its a case of "why spend money" promoting a car if the car sells itself. I can understand why they do for all the "run of the mill" BMWs.

For all of those who collected today - congrats and hope your having a great day! How does it feel to be exclusive?!

Congrats to all you lucky lucky people!

I can remember (what seems like an eternity ago), Alice saying "so the waiting begins". How time flies!

More pics please!

Mark.

Yes definitely worth the wait!!

Drove 250 miles today, mostly fast A roads and motorway. Feels very stable up to the recommended break in top speed.
Taking it very easy, however was still the best 250 miles I have ever driven!

All quiet today

I guess they're all out driving, trying to clock up the miles in time for the first service on Monday

My local paper said on Friday that the UK press launch is this week in Inverness. Also, it stated that BMW have said there are 50 cars still available.

Put some miles on mine today and opened her up a few times. With the M button pressed the traction light gets busy when you give it full beans!! I will be interested to see the first full road test with numbers that include in gear times such as 30-70mph as it pulls as hard as a 911S. You get that lovely feeling of the back just breaking traction! Might be a handful in the wet unless careful.

The car has just the right proportions that makes it so easy to place on the road. Early days but I can already say it's an amazing bit of kit.

Interesting. My dealer said getting one should be no problem, but has not got back to me since I asked if I could have one on Thursday.

Very interested to know what discounts have been secured....

I'll be going BSM if I decide to take the plunge, though VO is tempting.

Are many people going for HiFi upgrade and Leccy Seats? I was not going to bother with these, but Bum heaters, Nav, BT and USB for iphone etc. will be speccd.

I did the deal for my car back in Feb, been phoning around Audi dealers this week to see if I can get some more money for my trade-in and from what I'm being offered I'd say I've managed to get ~ £500 off the 1M.

Has anybody else manage to secure any form of discount. I was told that due to it being limited numbers this was a non discountable product.

I did manage to secure a few other bits discounted but would be interested to know if kind of discounts were secured?

Also, on the order form it states Fuel (around £30 i think...) Do they give you a full tank or just enough to get you to a petrol station. If its not full i will be sure to try and blag a full tank!!

Hope it doesn't take you too long before getting to 1,200.
Cars on your Island must have very low millage!

I've got just under 600 miles on the clock now. It's just been such an effortless drive while cruising. Very comfortable over long periods.
Then simply amazing on A and B roads!!!

Will try and get some photos up tomorrow...

It's all aftermarket stuff, so won't affect build.

Def no colour changes or DCT or cab or sunroof etc etc
