Chaps this isn't a bashing thread relax, the thread was started on cars available and I assumed a bit of a laugh at the prices on car sales for second hand cars.

Guys, take a chill pill.
I take no offense from Richards comments. Where the Modded 135's quicker than me on the track day? Yes, so who cares I don't. Can you take a comparison from it? Not really. I'm not out there to push 10/10ths, I'm out there to enjoy my car for what it is, and to drive home in one piece. The only way you can really compare is with the same driver pushing just as hard in both cars on the same day. Everyone has there own opinion and are entitled to it, take what you want from it, but don't get offended by it. |

8 cars on Carsales. Someone still wanted their 140000. I should list it at 250000 - just for fun. .

We set the lap record last night 1.20.6, see natsoft. Still more handling improvements to be made and time gained. The 135i was apparently running 1bar. A well prepared 135i shouldn't be much slower than a 1M. It has bigger brakes as well in our category. |

Beric mate, you should start a separate thread for your car on the Aussie forum. There is a fair amount of interest here and you can keep all the info re your race car on the one thread.

Here is what Beric referred to from Race 2, noting the "R" against the time and the legend at the bottom of page. |

Being a warm up session you can make any change you want, you're not checked. The Evo's are a quick car and that is why they are car of choice for this championship. Evo's owners will admit they destroy tyres if they drive at that pace for any length of time. It surprised many people in pitlane that we could do the whole race on medium compound tyres, they were all on hard and I believe some changed left side tyres in the CPS. At the end of the day we've built a car to try and stop the Evo domination and I believe over time the 1M will beat them, maybe not every time at every circuit but it'll be fun trying. Many other competitors and spectators came over and said they were glad to see another entry that could potentially beat the Evo's, better for the category. |

Plenty and well prepared too. The VIP Petfoods Evo went home with one or two blown engines but they'll be back and very competitive.
Holt has been an Evo owner for close to 10 years so they know what they are doing, plus it's an ex Team Mitsubishi Ralliart car, as is the Thomas car. Both recently purchased them from TMR. Then you've got the TMR car itself still prepared by Alan Heaphy. Check out the Super Karts and Sports Sedan times, lapping equal too or quicker than V8's. |

The Sherrin 135 is running rebuilt standard 135 brake calipers with BMW performance discs. They go through these discs & calipers pretty often. Standard 1M (M3) discs are larger in diameter & width if this is what you're running. Agree!! I think there's already a thread open here somewhere isn't there?
