If anyone knows anyone with a real 1M or an E9xM3 looking for wheels have them PM me. According to APEX, these wheels would work on those cars. 19" PS-7 wheels have brand new never driven on Yokohama AD08R tires & TPMS. Thanks Last edited by Sk8fe; 06-20-2015 at 07:19 PM.. Reason: updated info |

After 16 weeks of much "pain and suffering" and anger management classes
GT-Haus is finally in the house -- IT HAS ARRIVED!!! *axle section pictured is upside down as it would be mounted on the car, but this angle you can see the exhaust best through the bubble wrap. I didn't want to remove the bubble wrap until it is ready to go on to the car to avoid scratches. Sure wish I could have been able to afford the Titanium version, but maybe that will be next year's mod after I paid off this round of work. But honestly, I don't know since this order was so F'd up and was the order from hell! SUPER MAJOR props out to Mike at X-PH for all his time and help in getting this straightened out and for a tag-team effort to "push the rock into the end zone" when it was 4th and long on the 20! |

Yeah, I pretty much drool over it. I'd love to hear one in person.

Drove out to the shop this past Friday to drop off the exhaust. Car is totally gutted; should have taken pics -- no roof, no interior, gas tank removed in prep for the custom back-half roll hoop & harness bar to be fab'd and welded in. Floor plates and plates for the rear support bars being fab'd now.
Still waiting on custom CCW wheels (hopefully I will receive them in the next two weeks). Starting to come together. Soon it will be off to paint. |

Excellent Work!
Mine is also more of a track car that daily driver too. I went with ARC8s in 18" sizes (F) 9.5ET22 & (R) 10.5ET27, they fit great, really fill up the wider 1M arches nicely. I originally had 265/35/18 (AD08R) up front, but it kept catching the ER oil coolers, have now dropped front sizes to 245, still catches the arch liners (even when cutout), but need to move the leftside bracket further in, so radiator is angled outwards.

Thanks.
Did you swap your rear subframe with 1M or M3 to move your wheel hubs inward? I have those exact same 18" APEX ARC-8 wheels and rears didn't look like they would clear. They were going to be my track wheels and the 19" APEX PS-7 were going to be my daily shoes. PS-7's had no prayer of fitting/clearing my setup. So those will be up for sale soon. What negative camber are your running in the rear? I might still be able to salvage and use my ARC-8's? I ordered custom offset CCW Classic 18" wheels with Toyo R888's in 265/35/18 and 295/30/18. The only front tire rub I had was in tight 360 (full lock) slow parking lot maneuvering. |

Yep, I have a e92 M3 subframe, along with the dct lsd & drive shafts fitted. When the subframe was fitted, went with powerflex black series bushes to stiffen it up, along with the e92 m3 rear antiroll bar (swaybar).
I kept the 135i hubs though. I'm running a 285/30/18 AD08R tyre on the rear with -2 camber at the moment, once all complete, will get the camber increased. Arches all are all rolled/lipped My fronts on 265/245 also only rubbed on full/partial steering lock.. the bigger 1m/m3 wheel arch liners are one piece around the suspension spring/damper which needs to be cut to be fitted (or damper dropped to get it fit - silly design!)

Nice. How much did the e92 M3 subframe and related bits run you (roughly)?
Yeah, seeing that you did the rear subframe swap then I'm definitely going to have to put up for sale my 18" APEX ARC-8 wheels for 1M as well. Even this the ARC-8 rear wheel offsets are 5mm inward than the 19" PS-7's, they still aren't enough for my current setup. |

I did the subframe/lsd mod last year and it made a huge difference in getting the power down (pretty much FBO with jb4 etc). I got hold of the whole subframe from e92 m3, rear hubs/discs/suspension/arb/diff/frame/toe/camber arms etc etc..
Pretty much very similar, if not the same as 1M on the rear (except for brakes/hubs), as I chose to stick with the wider 135i hubs. Had to get rogue toe arms to bring the toe back inline, as subframe on its own will stick it right out. Cost'wise it was way cheaper than getting a Quaife lsd installed etc, as the 135i diff is welded and needs special tooling/skills to swap out internals. I'm based across the pond, in the uk, hence prices won't be a true reflection, worked out to be around ~$1500 installed. Lil'Monster has the same thing on his thread (page4) clicky

Getting Closer...
Custom back-half roll hoop & harness bar done and welded in. It's "only" that high to still accommodate the headliner. It would be even lower if I still had the stock roof and sunroof.
RevoZport CF roof and rear wing test fitted as well; roof not 100% lined up, but just in place for pictures. Custom CCW wheels with R888 rubber scheduled to be delivered Monday. Hopefully car will be ready for paint by middle-to-end of this coming week. |

CCW's Arrived!
After 4+ weeks (of course that spanned 4th of July holiday, so...) my custom offset CCW wheels have finally arrived with TPMS installed and Toyo R888's mounted & balanced from CCW. Rear fenders will get rolled. Wheel lip is 2+" wide front & rear if you are into that.
265/35/18 295/30/18 CCW Classic wheels are shotpeened bright black anodized with full swiss steel inserts (to strengthen lug nut area for wheels are that removed frequently) and polished rims. Next set (next year) I'll probably get the rims painted gunmetal grey and go with a different color for the center mesh. Center caps are black anodized as well. Shop measured for me and said "usable" diameter of the center caps is 68mm. I just quickly google searched and found 70mm BMW genuine wheel center cap Roundel emblems on Amazon (with double-sided tape/adhesive), but couldn't find any (or even just decals -- not overlays; although, I guess if pressed I could just use overlays) in 68mm. If anyone knows of any please post link or PM me. Thanks. |

I think it'll look great, especially if you keep the stock chrome sidemarkers.
