I asked him about that since I picked up his KW V2's and LCI taillights, he said the lip looks to good and thinks he will pick it up anyways. He sold off most of his none functional stuff and upgraded to V3's to make a functional track car. This lip should technically provide some type of down force due to it being completely sealed to the bumper and a sort of "splitter" like design. So seems like a 50/50 for him to still buy it. Just hoping it's good to me and I can get a few years out of them. But I also live where the sun is almost always out pooping warm rays of uv on my "uv protected" items. Oh well, I'll just take lots of pictures right away.

Well he got a super good used price on them and the V2 weren't cutting it for him. I also didn't mean super track car but he wants to track his car more often.

1) an undertray designed around the lip shape using ways to accelerate the airflow under the car. 2) the lip actually sticking out into the stream, this lip doesnt go into the free stream, the flow has separated about the stagnation point long before it hits the lip. 3) the lip doesnt direct air under the car, it directs in into the bumper, not really helpful there either. So its a nice looking show piece, but dont say that its functional. |

front lip
Aerodynamic background.
Purely for fun. I like to know from a aerodynamic concept what is the best front lip available. Not for the look, but for what a lip is design to achieve. thanks hyper1 |

Change of plans. Received a txt from SleK at midnight yesterday, they had just finished the mold and made it perfect. No way they could make a lip in half a day(Saturday Morning) before I could arrive in the afternoon.
Just wanted to keep people updated in case there were those looking forward to pictures today. Will talk to them later today to schedule a new time I can come in. |

Cool. When you do go down, can you take close up shots as well as full car shots from further away.

Wow, I look like an idiot on this thread.
I said I would like to track my car a little more. Nothing about making it a racecar. I never said V3 were the perfect setup for the Track. Quote:

More like I think my words were misunderstood a bit since all I meant to say was that you were parting out most of your car and just keeping what would be functional for the track since you wanted to track it more.
