Also, how did it go with AGI? What CAMS license are you going for that would require a full cage in the 135i? It's not required for an L2S.

AGI are very impressive. I already have a national grade licence and want to get a full cage and a log book for the 135i so I can run in AASA events and maybe some of the production car race series. As I want to get away from towing a car trailer when my MX5 is sold, the 135i will perform duties as both road and track car. AGI will fit a 4 point cage in the rear and a bolt-in section to complete the 6-point needed together with roof and door bars. Like the race seat and harness, the front part of the cage will go in the day before the race meeting. All mandatory signage and numbers will be mounted on magnetic material so I can maintain a low profile while travelling to meetings. AGI had one of 2 E82 135is on hand waiting on welded in full cages for a father and son.

I did Wakefield yesterday and got down to 1:15.2, first time at Wakefield, and first in a rwd car. I know people here run 1:09, but I was happy
car has MHD S1, PSS, SSK and not much else performance wise |

Went to the Training / Hill climb day here in Newcastle today. Pissed down rain in the morning, but we were still able to get some great racing done regardless. It cleared up nicely in the afternoon, some blistering times were set. But not by me, the little 135 was one of the slowest cars there sadly

BMW Drivers Club NSW Supersprint 1
Any other 1-series owners entered for the NSW Club's 2017 Supersprint Round 1 at SMSP Druitt (North) circuit next Saturday (4 Feb)?
I have not driven this SMSP configuration before but it looks like it should favour the higher-powered cars; kind of the opposite to the South Circuit. Am looking forward to trying it first in a Supersprint format as I will be attending a FOSC race meeting there on 18 March - the prospect of a field of about 30 cars heading into Turns 1 & 2 after a grid start on cold tyres is always exciting, and a bit scary!
