I'm gonna go for a 245/40/17 +40 square setup running a Sumitomo HTZIII tire. I need to get an alignment soon anyways so I'll just pull as much camber in the front as possible without plates.
Anyone see any issues? |

Hi, this is my first time here. Yesterday i tried

My first post…all the posts before on this thread made this a lot easier for me to figure out…thanks all. Here’s what I did…
Wheels: (VMR VB3s) Front: (18 x 8.5) (et40) Spacer: (none) Rear: (18 x 9.5) (et45) Spacer: (none) Tires: Front (Hankook) (V12) (225/40/18) Rear (Hankook (V12) (245/35/18) Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber: Stock suspension Notes: No rubbing that I’ve noticed…fitment looks great…fills wheel wells perfect. Possibly could have fit 255, the tire wall leans in a bit in the back. Overall super happy and big thanks to Jurrian at **********s.com for hookin me up with the awesome wheels and great service!!! |

Yokohama Advan Sport
Wheels: Stock M Sport
Front: 18 x 7.5 Spacer: None Rear: 18 x 8.5 Spacer: None Tires: Front Yokohama Advan Sport 225/40ZR18 Rear Yokohama Advan Sport 255/35ZR18 Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber: None Notes: No rubbing. I find it best to run them at Front 42 psi and Rear 44 psi. They are fairly new, but are grippy in dry and wet. No more tram track issues either.

Hello fellow 1ers! I'm on the market for some new tires and possibly new wheels as well. I have a stock 2009 128i non-sport package model and im looking for some great ideas. I'm not too familiar with shopping for tires/wheels, I'm still learning. I'm in Las Vegas so I'm looking for some tires that perform well in the heat. If anyone knows of any that do, could you please reply or pm me please. Thanks in advance!!!

Also i am debating on staying with this wheels ARC-8 17x8.5 et40 and roll my rear fenders or getting other 17" wheels. Do you guys know any light 17x8.5/9/9.5 wheel with high offset for my rear ?

miss my 2008 135i
Traded it in for a 335is, which I really like, but miss the loveable mutt styling of my gray 135. Performance not that different from my IS; I think the IS puts its power down a little bit better, no wheel hop.
This was is my winter set up. Still have it. Thinking I'll get my daughter a 128 when she starts driving and put these on it. Wheels: Volk Racing RE30 Front and Rear: 18" x 8.5" (not sure of offset, but cleared those big front calipers easily) Spacer: none Tires: Front and Rear: Pirelli Sottozeros (whatever TireRack said to get) Suspension/Fender Mods/Camber: None Notes: Square set up made car look less butch from behind, but filled front wells nicely with no rubbing. Turn-in was a little better than stock staggered set up. Never measured, but lighter weight made care feel more lively and handle bumps better, even with run flat winter tires. Never missed work because of snow, even when NYC decided not to plow side streets. |

BBS RS-GT
Here's mine just fitted today
Wheels setting: 18x8.5 ET 38 18x9 ET 45 Tyres setting: Michelin PS3 225/40 (F) 255/35 (R) No aftermarket suspension mods, car came with M Package & sports suspension. No rubbing issues surprisingly. However, the front does stick out a little bit...Any suggestions for improvement most welcomed! |

I'm thinking of the same thing. After looking at all the posts, there is exactly 1 that has it without rubbing.
