Just noticed your tires look like they are on the wrong way, tread pattern should be going forwards?
Looks great, I too had the rear carpets hiding the cage holes.

Yeah, paint shop didn't put the wheels on the correct side of the car, but these are the 19" APEX PS7 wheels and tires that don't fit my application (wrong rear offset since I didn't do the 1M rear subframe and related components swap) and I cannot use, so they will be put up for sale shortly. They were just on the car. I'm thankful that they didn't damage or get any overspray on them so I *could* sell them. Someone will get a deal. 19" brand new wheels with brand new Yokohama AD08 tires (literally never even driven 1 foot on) and TPMS sensors. All said and done, wheels, sensors, tires 'm in just over 3 grand on them and I'm lucky if I can get half that shipped. Ugh. Oh well. If anyone is interested or knows anyone who is -- PM me.
Thanks. |

Great build! I have been reading the forum for the past month or so and it is really nice to see fellow think-alikes and get valuable information. Keep it up!
I will be receiving a totaled 2012 low-km BMW 1M in a few days that I aim to use as a tech-donor (engine, axles etc) . Searching for the other "body" now and will put up some pics here too as I progress. Aim - sunday-funday track-car. I could be interested in your 19" wheels/tyres if you can find a shipping quote to Estonia, Tallinn (Europe). And I will probably be left with some parts to sell (do not need Navigation etc)... |

Pics of Custom Fab Work on Stock Rear Control Arm
To maximize wide rear tire clearance, OEM rear control arm was modified, reinforced and powder coated black. This is the kind of detail and custom work that looks OEM that I love!

looking awesome!
I had a mestiershaft and revozport diffuser combo for a while and the meistershaft, which hangs low, would shift on the track and burnt my diffuser. it was fine on the street. I suggest you gold milar insulate the revozport diffuser where it is closest to the exhaust to avoid this. it is what i ended up doing and it stopped the issue. if you need any more revozport stuff let me know and i can share my discount with you. |

Yeah Nate & I were already thinking that we would need something like that to put on the RevoZport CF rear diffuser because the Meistershaft axle-back was touching or extremely close to touching the diffuser.
As for any more RevoZport stuff offer, thank you. I may very well take you up on your offer, but honestly it may be some time before that occurs. My car has been in one shop or another for literally a year due to various delays outside of Nate's or my control (delays at the shop that installed the MOTIV 750 big turbo kit, then killer cold spell late winter Q1 of 2015, which delayed dyno tuning then 17 weeks for Meistershaft exhaust (order from hell), 7 weeks for custom CCW wheels, 3 months at the paint shop when they said they could knock it out in 2.5 weeks from delivery of the car - ugh! You name it!). I still have some thrown codes and a boost controller issue I need to resolve in the Spring since Nate is still wrapping up the car and I'll get it home in time to put it up on jack stands in the garage and to take the CCW wheels with R888's off and store them inside where it is warm for the winter. So after I settle up with Nate and my credit cards stop melting and I get all the codes resolved, my Level10 upgraded STEPTRONIC flashed with Alpina software and I can get Jake from MOTIV to complete my dyno tuning THEN I simply just want to enjoy it for the remainder of 2016 and possibly look into RevoZport side skirts or upgraded suspension next year this time. so i pulled the trigger on all the 1m body panels. was gonna go the route that TUNED took for his rear quarters to save some coin. looks like you did it the "proper" way. im curious what that ended up costing

At what temperature would the DME send the signal to turn on the radiator fan on my '09 135 with BMWP PPKv2? Shop is trying to wrap and to make sure everything is in order for a shakedown test drive. They flushed the coolant for me but the procedure to bleed the coolant system without starting the motor didn't work. So they bled the system the traditional way, but with all the idling he said the fan never turned on. He wanted to make sure it would turn on and function before I slapped my girl's ass on a shakedown drive so I don't end up cooking my motor. He called a local tuning shop and the guy stopped by plugged in to my car with his laptop and with whatever software he was using when he tried to send it the signal to turn the fan on the water pump turned on??? I don't know what software he was using. Any help/insight would be *GREATLY* appreciated. Thanks.

Had the privilege of seeing this car in person this past weekend and WOW! It's really looking great! Nate definitely cares about every little detail of this build and you can see it in his work. Can wait to see it back on the street!
