Seeing if anyone is interested for a swap
Have a set of 18" VMR V701's in Matte Black (off Stu's old car) 1er sizing. Little bit of cosmetic damage but nothing drastic tyres; rears Nitto INVO 255/35 about 2000kms old. fronts Falken 452 215/40 fairly worn Free coating of brake dust if you'd like, or nicely cleaned. After a set of stock 261M wheels with some preferably decent tires attached Sydney only, too much hassle to go interstate No swaps for rims only, just after the whole package Happy to work out a cash adjustment either way on top depending on your offer PM with your number if you're after photos or more details |

F10 520D MSport - 2011 MY12
Looking at new car for the Mrs (haven't decided what as yet), but looking to gauge interest in private sale else will just trade-in (less hassle).
Prior to this we had the E60 520D LCI, and the F10 is easily a better car for two important reasons - 8sp gearbox and much smoother ride. This car really has an Exec Saloon (almost Limo feel) but very agile as you'd expect a 5er. The most important option on F10 is Sports Auto tranny, as it not just adjusts the tranny but also the chasis/steering...and makes the driving experience significantly better than the standard F10 (which has copped a lot of criticism). Why 2.0D? Simple - it's the most popular 5series in Europe, because it's super efficient and loads of torque. In city driving we get about 800KM in a tank, but on highways we see about 1100KMs. In addition to the usual production line improvements, the 2011 MY12 has a couple of updates, the Tacho and speedo is actually 1/3 LCD display (i.e. full lower section) and Head Up display is multi-colour. Exterior is Carbon Black (exclusive to MSport pack), with Black interior. Options include Genuine 19" MSport wheels with Michelin runflats, Sports auto with paddles, Brushed aluminium interior trim, Full Electric seats with Memory, Sunroof, Bluetooth audio etc. Msport pack was $11K option pack - lowered sports suspension, high gloss shadow line, sports seats, sports steering wheel. 1 (lady) owner, bought and serviced at BMW Sydney. First reg Jul-2011, under 33,000KMs, and another 2.5 yrs of factory warranty left (bought it with 5yr warranty) I think $66K is a fair price (with 19" Msport wheels, not the 20" BC Forged in the pic). |
