Snake's Colorado Cousin
I found this on a trail one afternoon. Obviously the long lost cousin of the snake in my front yard.
Only a couple of minutes later I found what I think was a baby rattlesnake in the middle of the trail. It was only about 8 to 10 inches long with a distinctly triangular head that was disproportionately large and a gray body that didn't really show any distinct pattern. It moved off before I could snap a picture. This was the typical lunch spot if not packing a lunch for a hike. This was also pretty typical of the weather right up to the point that it rained every afternoon/evening. And, yes, dogs are allowed at the Dog Bar. Anyway, its good to be home.

Well... since I started the thread this way....
Was looking at a new flute today that I was going to work on. Had the flute in one hand, the inspection paper in the other. Little did I realize I had my alcohol lamp on! Smell something burning look over and tada! Paper is on fire, try to blow it out, sort of works. Take my cold tea and spill it on the paper. I look around, no one had yet noticed. However, doesn't take long for the smell to waft down the benches....

Well, at least no one will notice that it was actually you who burned the place to the ground the day it happens. Two fires, although small, in five months... impressive!.... It's a good thing you don't bring that lamp to the runways...

Man its hard to keep up with you guys.
Congrats Phil and Jen! Glad your alive rachel after another fire! and I reckon Mike as well after your bout with the rattle snake! I went to Minneapolis two weeks ago to hang with megans folks (all cool) . It is gorgeous there as well. I flew a plane! for like twenty minutes! Wicked fun (Megan tried not to puke) Oh and Lobster pounds are freakin awesome, but new england weather sucks.......78 % of the time.

That little snake was no big deal. I had more interest in it than it did me. In fact, it wouldn't even hang around to get its picture taken.

Got a brief burst of 135 MPH this afternoon in my new M-Sport 128i on the A8 Autobahn near Stuttgart this afternoon. It feels really strange to see the speedometer up in that territory and to not worry about the cops. Next week it should have enough miles on it to see how easy it will be to touch the 155 MPH limiter.

I hurt my right calf during soccer yesterday. I am barely walking. If its getting worse, I will be in hopsital for sure.
What happened I was running with the ball. All of sudden, I heard a "pop" from my right calf. I fell down and the other team has to pick me up. I couldnt walk at all. 2 mins later, a big blue/purple spot was showed on right calf. |

When I was going 135 on the A8 I had to stay in the middle lane to let the fast cars go by. Its quite a thrill to see a Hayabusa go by almost 50 MPH faster.

Why do you hate it so much? Verizon clearly states that FiOS is the top-rated broadband service in America on their website.
