True. Exact reason why ALO took the opportunity to go to Ferrari when it presented itself. But then again, he got fed up with the niggling little things they consistently get wrong. If LeClerc had paid attention, he probably would be in a Merc or RB instead and be much better off.

If Ferrari continues down this path, LEC leaving becomes more and more a strong possibility. Mercedes will try to get HAM an 8th but we don't know if that will happen in the time HAM likely has left at his age. A LEC and RUS lineup would be a pretty damn good 1-2 punch.

That was a wild and crazy race from the start! Overall really impressed that Max drove away from Ham’s dirty move and then destroyed him later by passing and dropping him by 3 seconds in about a lap and a half. Checo may have gotten to pass Alo and Ham of it wasn’t for the red flags.

A few talking points from the race:

1. Hamilton creeping in the formation lap was criminal. It led to a very dangerous situation with some of the cars coming to a standstill whilst others approaching full throttle.

Sorry I can't join you guys during the race!! I will try for Baku and maybe I'll post some pictures from Miami GP during the race.

My thoughts on the race;
1) RB19 does have a weakness, as great as it is and it appears to be race starts. It's not bad but it seems competition is a bit more consistent/stronger.
2) Max matches Senna in podiums, he's probably going to usurp him in race wins this season too. Max is 25 years old, Senna started at 24. We're watching history in the making whether you like Max or not. You're witnessing GREATNESS.
3) Sergio had a decent race and his lockup does appear to be car related. He's a great driver but I really hope this narrative of Checo being a threat to Max goes away. It's so pointless.
4) Lewis had an incredible race and deserves all the credit for it. I watched the delta between Alonso and Lewis all race long and every time Alonso put pressure on him, Lewis was able to answer. He 100% deserved that 2nd place and showed his talents in that shitbox.
5) I think Merc is running their engines hot to keep up with RB/AM/Ferrari. They've never had reliability issues before.
6) Very disappointed in Ferrari and if it wasn't for AM, this would be a very sad front of the grid this year, outside the RB.
7) I don't know how Charles will ever recover all of this. He's at fault just as much as Ferrari is.
8) Carlos deserves that penalty, period.
9) Hulkenberg seems to be a A LOT faster than KMags this season.
10) I still can't figure out if Stroll is a decent driver or not lol.
11) Three podiums straight for Alonso - incredible.
12) The most decorated podium of all time, really amazing to see those three titans up there.
