I'd personally stick with the fitment as seen on the M3 GTS (has same wheels as ours), from memory it's 255/35/19 - 285/30/19.

Well damn they don't have PSS in 285/30r19
So I'm going 295/30r19 rear. I'm stuck between 255/35r19 and 265/30r19 front. Need this pretty quick. Any suggestions or reasons for one vs the other? |

DO IT! We've been waiting on a guinea pig Guys have managed to squeeze 275/18s on the front so I think maybe the diameter is more critical than the width when it comes to interference. Go with the widest you can get that has a smaller diameter than stock. Worst case maybe 5mm spacers up front should solve the issue. Please start a new thread and let us know once you figure it all out! Last edited by robertm; 03-28-2012 at 11:01 AM.. |

I am looking at going with the 255/35 front and 275/35 rear when I get these. The tires should be more square to the wheel, which I prefer aesthetically, and will put a little more rubber on the road. That combination maintains proper outer diameter stagger (0.6"). Overall, the tires are 0.2" larger diameter on the front, and 0.3" larger diameter on the rear compared to stock. That would cause the speedo to read about 1% lower, not a problem since it currently reads 2-3% high based on my GPS.
Should I expect rubbing issues? Has anyone else gone with this size? |

Currently using my 1M mostly for circuits, and am looking forward to progressing on from the PS2. My vehicle is still fully stock.
I am considering Michelin PS Cup+/N-Spec F245/35/19 and R265/35/19, or Pilot Super Sports F255/35/19 and R275/35/19. Any thought on how these might handle or compare? Thanks. |

Jurgen is a pretty straight forward guy, and not being able to qualify would trump other suspected reasons IMO.

SuperSports are the best! Great write up by the way.

Had an issue. Tires coming later. My 1M has been sitting for two weeks on shredded tires. :\
On the bright side, we are running dyno at the Nismo Z Fiesta in San Antonio, Texas this year! |
