Hi guys, just an update from Mike. "We'll leave it till Sunday for everyone to put in their votes, and Monday I will make sure things start rolling."
So get your votes in before Sunday! Also Mike wanted me to ask those of you already with an iCarbon front lip, are there any fitment issues? He needs to know before they make the mold and etc so his lip won't have those same issues if there are any. Also for those of you who think the iCarbon isn't aggressive enough, I will try to convince Scopione to make a 2nd front lip after they release the iCarbon one if it wins the poll. I will make another poll thread later on after the iCarbon comes to market and if Mike approves making a 2nd lip instead of say a spoiler/trunk/hood. |

Well, you have to look at it from a business perspective. They need to make what the biggest number of people will buy. Thus we can't just ask them to make a lip that say only 6 people will buy. But after the first lip which is the most popular one they can make a 2nd one which will be a bit less popular but hopefully it isn't to bad. Which is why I will try to convince them to do a 2nd lip later on but no date on that yet.

As far as fitment issues with the icarbon lip...yes there are many...I would get at least 98% of them have had issues with them.

I want to retract my vote for Kerscher and vote for the Hamman style!! Also, I really don't understand the votes for the iCarbon front lip design.. is it because that's all we ever really see on the forums and thus everyone wants to get one (sort of like the VMR CSL reps)??

Actually now that I think about it... they should just take the splitters they already make and put a connecting piece between the two that mounts up to the factory bolt locations...
I like how aggressive their splitters are and it might look real nice if they take that design and modify it a bit into a front lip.

My Haman lip fits perfectly with no tweaking required. I can't remember if I had to drill holes though.

Can you give any specifics? It would help Scopione out alot if people could give specific fitment issues that they can correct.

essentially the problem was that if the middle part is touching the car so it can join, the end/sides will be bowing away from the car...like trying to put a ruler on a basketball; if you put sides on first, middle won't make contact with center part of car...etc.

Kind of hard to give an ETA when a lip hasn't been chosen yet by Scopione to make. So no, no eta. I will try to get an ETA when the poll closes.
