Let it be said that you're all bastards and I'm jealous of every last one of you. My poor 1 is rotting away at the port in Bremerhaven. At this point, she's so desperate for a ride to America that she's probably hooking.
But please -- by all means -- keep patting each other on the back about your cars being on the Toreador while the rest of us suffer in silence. Now bring on the Cepheus Leader and BRING ME MY CAR! (all in jest, of course...except for the jealousy part) |

On behalf of all the 1's on the Toreador, we sincerely apologize. We did everything we could to hold it for you and save you a spot.
The good news is, if your car wants to start hooking, it's a good thing it's already red...though I can't imagine it'd be much fun to have a 1er in a red light district since you can't drive unless they turn green. =P Plus, you want to patiently wait at the port with puppy dog eyes, lest you have to await transportation away from the port to hook, then get a ride back. In the end, it will only be a few days difference, so no worries. Live vicariously through us, and the happier you are for us and our cars, the sooner yours gets on a boat. Good carma. =) |

So is my therapist. Ha! Just keeping it light as we navigate the Atlantic and slowly make our way across the pond. Bonus points for anyone who can get it on the webcam going through the Panama Canal on the 8th.

Ojala que el viaje en el barco Toreador sea agradable, con buen tiempo!
Toreador means "bullfighter," of course, but then, I wouldn't think that any Lambos are on board ; ) This thread is so much fun, it is making me forget the crappy weather here in the Northeast...well, maybe. |

And I think we'll lose tracking the boat now as it heads to the middle of the Atlantic, or at least live tracking, so will have to catch the bullfighter that is our ship on the flip side. Godspeed Toreador. Watch out for white whales and crackens.

Hey there's the Azores off to the starboard! Anyone want to swim over for some bacalau, caldo verde and vinha d'alhos? After all that food, we might have to grab a speedboat to make it back to the Toreador.
