Not stupid at all! Very valid questions The DIY video is already done, and we'll post it up in a day or two.

Basically you remove your stock seatbacks, and these go over them. We made the edges in a way that the carbon seatback "grabs" on to the stock seatback and overlaps it, so that it holds on to it, all while looking like it came like that from factory. The seatback also comes with pre-installed 3M tape for ease of installation.

So, remove stock seatback, put CF one on top of the stock one, and put it back in!

Count me in for one! It'll look great with my carbon fiber trim (car still in production).

The carbon fiber trim offered by BMW is the same But it DOES look nice Exclusivity, I guess was my goal

Kcyrusm - Have you received your set yet?

DTM- I still want to order a set but got to my car yesterday and saw that some A$$ hit my rear bumper damaging that and my iCarbon diffuser so once i get an estimate on that I'll hopefully still be able to order these from you guys

Yep, my set came in a few days ago. Thursday, I think? Great look to them, beautiful weave. You are "technically" adding weight instead of removing, but the things are so light they float in the air almost like a feather. I can't imagine yer adding more than 1-2lbs in your car if even. Great product! Fast Shipping!

Kcyrusm I'm glad you received them. Make sure you post some pics so we can see how it came out.

And thanks about the shipping! We do our best!

Unfortunately, still waiting on my 2011 135i to get shipped. Got another month probably before I can put them on my car and show them off.

You'd be adding about 12 oz total to the car

If you wanted to save weight, our Hood and Trunk combo would be in order. You'd save upwards of 50 lbs combined Well, 49.2 lbs if you have our seatbacks
