we have installed several of the AA units and have sold a few for our out of state customers, and so far everyone has been very happy! So i would definitely recommend it to you! Also HPF is working their way into offering a system for the 135. Either way anything i can do to help let me know!

I would HIGHLY suggest waiting for HPF to release their exhaust...it is SWEET!! will be getting rid of my Maddad setup when it comes out.

I'm on the same boat. I don't mean to hijack the thread, but I have narrowed it down simply to the PE exhaust....sounds amazing specially mated to the N55 engine which is what I have.
However, it just came to my attention that Dinan products tend to be great and I was wondering if anyone has experience with this exhaust? I know someone posted on the first page about the exhaust sounding simply "ok"...however, I'm looking for something as intoxicating as the PE sound....or maybe that's simply the answer to my question... |

If you want to install the optional Y pipe that comes with the BMW PE (to eliminate the resonator), you have to cut the exhaust. |

cut your muffler and resonator out and weld 3 inch piping in sounds good, then get 3 inch catless down pipes and your rocking, ive never been pulled over running this

I posted on this thread a while back, and I'm happy to be able to provide some more info. Yesterday I helped a buddy install the AA signature exhaust (axle back muffler delete discussed above) on his N55 car, and I can attest that it sounds great.
Personally I have and prefer the BMW Performance Exhaust, however, my second choice would definitely be the AA. A few posts up, someone was wondering which one is louder, and after doing a side-by-side comparison, the AA sounded a little louder than mine, but in the words on my friend, mine has more of a "BMW" sound to it. The AA sounds lower/deeper. I believe the comparison was even since I actually have my PE installed with the resonator on (which eliminates all possibilities of drone), and the AA gets installed while keeping the resonator on the car. |

We had read and expect for the tips to be a little more biased towards the right, however, the hangers are entirely adjustable and there is plenty of room to play with. I am a perfectionist so I did not give up on centering the tips - it was actually rather simple and by the time we were done I must say that it looked great and centered...maybe a measuring tool would reveal otherwise but it looked like a very clean and even install.

Oh and in terms if fitment, the huge piping is nicely bent around the differential and suspension components without issues. It does sit close (1/4 - 1/2 inch) in some areas but there is not enough play (I tried applying force to move it by hand in ways it wouldn't naturally move) and it did not touch anything.
