wow..like shooting a half-dressed woman...all angles covered ;-)
But...looking at the pics...I couldn't help but think the next reveal will be the entire rear bumper or the right side "M" vent...what do you think/

From this angle the front fenders look enormously flared. Did you get this impression in real life, or is this particular perspective misleading? This shot looks a little distorted, as if you were using a fish eye lens.

"1 M not having CF roof
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------- As seen on this Prototype drive video, released at m-power.com, the 1 M has no carbon fiber roof like m3 or m6.. little disappointing" Did I miss something? The recent test drive there was a (total) showing of 1SMC to the winners? |

My little Canon PowerShot SX210is has a 28mm wide angle lens. It also zooms. So yes, the curves are a bit distorted in this photo since I most likely took the photo as 28mm or near that. The front fenders are wider, but not that much. I noticed the wheels more than the flared fenders.
here are a few more pics of teh front end... Dackel |

Here are some photos of what the regular washer jets look like on a 120d. You get these when you don't order the cold weather pack with xeons. IF you order cold weather you get the flush popup ones like we have on our US spec cars.
And Btw... I think the next reveal will be the right front fender gills. That was the only piece on teh car cover I could see. Dackel |

Not sure I'm that fond of the droopy eyelids on the headlight; in fact, the effect close up looks like it taped on. Thanks for the photos! pge |

Jason, could you tell if the quad exhaust was a real one (i.e. a dual splitting in quads as opposed to the 'fake' ones that have a 135i application (a 1-sided with a re-route). Do to that, the rear trunk needs to have been re-designed, so that would give BMW one more "+" for going the full extent as far as giving the car true ///M treatment. Cheers

They are taped on in these photos. They haven't yet revealed the headlights, so the black tape in these photos is just covering up the new stuff underneath.

Also note 2:30 in this video. When the car spins around and throttle reapplied you'll see the left side discharge a majority of the exhaust. [u2b]lr9Z0v1Reuw&feature=player_embedded[/u2b] |

OK, that's very disappointing... Chalk another one in the "cost cutting" column....

Start it up on a cold morning and see the exhaust fumes condense almost entirely on the passenger side (the video and link pointed above shows the uneven exhaust passage). How would that look now? ///M-worthy? Hardly... BTW, Audi had no problem giving the RS3 a single sided dual, as opposed to the absolutely customary and across the entire RS-line twin ovals, right? Could they have wired a fake twin oval, probably if they tried.
