The exhaust is engineered in true BMW fashion. There are no resonant modes, just an purposeful rumble at idle which evolves into a goosebump-invoking howl as it gathers revs under load. Still running her in so I haven't had her over 4500 rpm yet, can't wait. One interesting phenomenon: when driving off from cold with part throttle, as the revs move past 3000 it really barks -only lasts for the 1st minute or so, but boy is it sweet!

Hi Welcome, Good luck on the wait, the buildup to getting the car is going to kill you. Lol
I waited 8 months for my 135i. Talk about sleepless nights with a smile on my face. |

Another local boy-tjie here from Cape Town.Got my 135i almost 2 months ago. Here's a pic....so much work to be done on her...have only done the black grilles and blacked-out number badge.oh yes and also cut away those nasty airdam plastic things next to the bottom mesh grills either side, where spotlights are usually mounted(they looked too damn girly for me).
Next up carbon boot spoiler!! [IMG][/IMG] [IMG][/IMG] |
