Does your car have Comfort Access ? Mine doesn't and a problem I had a few times was I would insert the key fob and too quickly hit the starter button. The ecu didn't have enough time to read the key fob's chip and the engine would just crank and crank. I only had this problem twice and on the second time I read the ECU, it had a EWS code for the anti theft system. It was then that I realized I was trying to start the car too soon anfter inserting the key fob. Its kind of like when you remove the key fob and then you CAN start the engine back up, IF you do it fast enough. Just a quirk I guess. Dack

honestly, try to avoid anything except for shell 91 v-power. it is as good, if not better then any other 93/94 octane fuel on the market and also contains no ethanol. fuel cleaner is cheap.. it may very likely fix your problem. if you decide to switch to shell, even that fuel with just a few full throttle pulls to clean out the injectors/ fuel system will likely do it. |
