I really appreciate all of the links, info, and discussion..... thinking of buying this online and having a local dealer install it, after doing all the reading it seems like the added oil cooler warranty-free worries and decent performance numbers make this an intriguing choice.

Yes, it only adds an additional water cooler. Personally they should have added a secondary oil cooler similar to the stock one. An intercooler upgrade from them would have made some sense too. I do have this kit and initially I was very impressed, but for the money plus labor you kind of feel ripped off. On the dyno with BMW Performance Exhaust I made 287 whp and 343 wtq, not bad for 70+ ambient temps. Unfortunately I didn't have a stock dyno performed before the install. Also 92 is the highest octane gas you can get here unless you can afford to run race gas.
