Wow...still a monster gap between the front quarterpanels/hood and the lights...it will be interesting to see this in person to see if it is an optical illusion or some kind of styling cue. If you look closely, you can see the shadow/reflection of the body pieces on the lens of the lights.
Regardless, this is a stunning piece of automobile and just what I have been waiting for!!! Can't wait to testdrive the 135! Hopefully, BMW will surprise us with an M-version as rumored. |

Sedona Red is the launch color for the 1-series. Doubt you'll be seeing any other color in official photos. We're just going to have to wait until the Spring.

No. I'm sure there will be a more detailed press release covering the coupes features + specs in detail sometime in early Sept. right before the cars international debut in Frankfurt, you'll surely see the car in different exterior and interior colors.

Forget about the electronic LSD--ain't gonna happen. It's electronically applying a rear brake to reduce wheel-spin. Not the same benefits as a true limited-slip diff.

Something about the rear of the 135i really attracted my attention. I think I figured it out. The rear light is wholly contained within the space between the inside edges of the rear tires. And if you draw a line from the upper edge of the rear light and let the outer edge of the light serve as a guide it'll intersect at the outside edge of the rear tire. Strong design work!
