A friend has a samsung top loader, they have had some problems with it, I think the tub was out of balance or something
I have a Bosch, it is ok. It is a front loader, I have had to replace the front seal once when it was just out of warranty. I have had to take it apart a couple more times because the door lock wouldn't work, so it won't do anything at all. It also frequently gives a 'sud' warning. We use Tide pods, so its not like we are putting in more soap then you should. The 'sud' warning basically shuts it down, then you go to swap the laundry (just before bed) and find that you need to re-run the wash. I personally don't like front loaders, so I wouldn't buy another. The Bosch is just 'ok' I wouldn't be in a hurry to buy another. |

Do not buy nothing digital buy the ones with the old school knobs and switches ///
Coworkers husband works on all of them and he says stay away from digital washer and dryers.

Avoid Samsung. Started a thread on this already.
https://www.e90post.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1518423 Samsung bought my LG set for me. The struts need to be replaced. Common issue with them. He can buy parts online and install himself in less than 30 minutes. Had to replace the struts on mine several times in 4 years....along with the water pump(s).....and the pump housing bracket.....and the circuit board..... I agree about Speed Queen, I wanted to get one, but because our set is very visible in our bedroom my wife wanted something with a more built in Euro look. We got the Miele set and they work very well, very quite too. We're in an apartment temporarily while we do some work and they have Whirlpool appliances which are garbage.
