from what I've herd the 135i uses the same diff as the 335i. I believe the 135i suspension and drive train are almost the same thing as the 335i.

The press releases make it sound like the 135i's diff is a brand new one. Of course the eLSD may be all electronic, but they sure make it sound like the diff (even being the same gear ratio as the 335i) is a different one.

its prolly not their reasoning i just said that and the e-diff is great but they always had a real lsd in their M cars the the 335 and especially the 135 are approaching if not already at the M performance level. I mean the 135 comes standard wit the M-sport kit. It just sucks it doesnt have a real lsd and if its gonna cost 3-4 grand to get one Im gonna be upset.
