That's a great point... if you care about fuel economy why did you buy the car, beyond that, why are you going to get it chipped???

"pay to play" ... sorry if your area doesn't have 93... maybe consider moving?

by the way, nice numbers... My mpg around town is 18.8.... so if I can expect 27 that'd be great! haha
If this is the case why are we concerned about MPG in the first place?

Wont be moving anytime soon. Maybe I will pick up some toluene and mix up a batch of 93. :-)

^^ A common presumption is that tunes reduce fuel efficiency, but it appears SSTT shows otherwise based on these anecdotal reports. I, for one, was hoping SSTT might help MPG.

Exactly.. This is why I did my MPG test. Wanted to see what effect the SSTT has on my gas mileage and I was pleasantly surprised by my results. Even at 80 mph I had driven 200 miles on a half tank of gas under highway conditions.

They tend to consume more gas when you put it in those conditions, i.e. using your lead foot all the time on a tune vs not on a tune.

I've averaged 34mpg cruising at 62mph over 40 miles. It was painful to drive that slow, but I just wanted to see what this amazing engine can do. 300hp, 34mpg...WOW!

i'm not concerned, I didn't know what the car was even quoted at until i read the window sticker in the glovebox... I guess the car tells us so we're talking about it? Moving is extreme... if you have room in the garage, get a 55gal barrel of toluene and call it a day.

Thanks for the info. I will be heading to Boston next weekend (~ 600 miles round trip, mostly highway). I hope that I can approach your mpgs.
