how are we able to get Terra or Lemon in the US? It's not available on the bmw website...I'd love to have terra leather when I order my car.

I actually ordered my car with the sports package, and BMW Canada was able to delete the shadowline trim and replace with chrome trim. I just had to pay $400 for a customize charge... although I am totally happy as I love how the chrome looks on all the 128i's up here.

Good luck!

This is the exact color combination I want and without the ZSP package (except up here in Canada, you can order the sport seats as a stand-alone option so I would go with that). I don't want the ZSP because I want the chromeline window trim. I can't imagine my 328i without the chromeline, I think it looks great with black.

You can get Terra Cotta in a 1 series in the US, not Terra. Terra is a rusty brown color that is available on the 3 series, but not the 1.

It's called a priority 1 option, along with Lemon (white) leather. You can ask for it at BMW Center as you order as a no additional charge option.. You still have to pay for leather or have it included in the premium package.

Btw, the "Terracotta" color is IDENTICAL to the terra leather on the 3 series. I have both.

Also, it's likely a typo on the 1 series ordering system in North America, since the 1er's brown leather is called "terra" in every other market in the entire world.

I wish that were true. When I ordered my car I had the dealer show me terra cotta. The only other vehicle he could find it on in stock was an X3. True to it's name, terra cotta looks like terra cotta - orangy ceramic tile. I've seen and sat in Terra in an AW 3 series. Beautiful cinnamon brown color, would look awesome with SMG. My CA did look into it, but had to say "sorry, it's not even a special order 1 option".

The M sport steering wheel does not come with a 128i sports pkg.

But it can be ordered and installed as an accessory.

However, I decided to order the 135i Coupe anyway with the Sport Pkg. that includes the M steering wheel.
