C300 steering
I test drove a C300 Luxury last summer as a option for my wife...found the steering feel limp and lifeless. Overall the ride was uninspiring. Maybe the Sport is a bit better. The interior also felt a bit cheap. The exterior is quite attractive but it isn't a driver's car. You will likely find a good deal on it though; they're not that expensive. The C63 AMG, on the other hand, is a insane beast and on a different level.

The biggest problem will be finding a manual to test drive.

Drove the C300 sport w/ manual...LOVED it. I loved every aspect of the car. I got the "this is the car" feeling. Odd...I never would have expected it from a Benz.
I still am a die hard BMW fanboy, but given my budget, the C300 sport is just a nicer all round car than a completely stripped 328i sedan. Much better equipped too.

^^^I personally like the 135i better, but can completely understand you wanting to have a car with "more" room that still has that "i have made it" look (friends of mine call it "stylin' and profilin'). I remember back when I was in my early 20's that I would have wanted something similar. So if YOU want it and think that you can afford it....then do it...it is still German engineering....
Have you driven the G37s sedan yet? Roughly the same price, more options, more ponies, and it has rave reviews (unlike the C300 sport) |

I think if we were to do the statistics of good/bad reviews for G37s and C300 sport they would fall greatly in favor of the Infiniti... |

Understood....I bought my 135i this past July and my buddy bought a C300 sport in White. I am happy with my car and he is happy with his and they both look great in their own ways. So good luck with it and be sure to post a few pics for us when you get it!
