Wow. Those were a little bit of a pain for me to take out with those stupid clips. They'd also need to pop the hood and remove the torx screws..I can't imagine doing all of that for grills. Maybe they ripped them out? (breaking the clips and rendering them useless?) That sucks though.

Why remove screws that are no where near the part you are working on? All you need is a hooked tool and 5 minutes. Some people have even managed to just pull hard to get their grills out. I wasnt that brave swapping out my grills. |

They were aftermarket matte black grills
they were probably just ripped out. I was parked next to an e46 M3, so im thinking maybe that asshole took them because he thought they would fit his car. |
