Let me up front with you like I was in the OP.

First, it will take some time to get the parts in as they're located all around the country.

Second, paint takes about 2 weeks (mine bumper and fender is still at the shop and I dropped it off last Monday).

Once all parts are painted, I will ship them all with peanuts in the boxes. Annyoing, but effective

I just paid but what happens if we never get 10? Is there anyway to get this going with fewer people at a slightly higher price? I think the longer we wait around the more people will drop out, it's what happened with the last gb attempt.

I just paid my invoice too... I didn't realize someone dropped the day of... really?

I am sure about 4-5 people on the list that are good for this group buy. The others not so much... Hopefully we can still get this done.

I hear they are giving employees all new 1 series coupes later this year as a new "compensation" package

I am glad for the time being we are covered by Dan hopefully no one else will drop! Can't have Dan buying all these extra pairs of skirts for his non-existent 1 series. I am not sure how his boss would handle it!

*Question though how does that work when you have a pair for yourself? Is it for the dealer to have it in their inventory? Also will we have an updated list to see who has paid to keep track and give those others the glare?

Just PM Dan@UnitedBMW with your email + last 7 digits of VIN and you are good as gold. After receiving those 2 items he will email you an invoice to pay. Once the last guy has paid (10th person) painting will start.
