Apparently, I'm the only person with a 1M who didn't have a 135 so I can't answer your question. The car is back on the ground now but I'll be changing brake pads next week so I'll answer the CDV question then. I had a Z4 M Coupe previously and the stock CDV sucked so I changed it and loved the opened up version. I don't notice the annoying delay in the clutch on this car so it either doesn't have it or they improved it.

Clutch Delay Valve. BMW started using them a few years ago to save the clutch from people who can't drive a manual trans. Those that can hate it because it delays the engagement and makes it feel mushy and artificial, like breast implants.

Thanks. As far as I know, I haven't had any experience with either.

Good eye! I'll look at it tomorrow. I have found a few places where sealant and other silicones have run a little after a few days of driving. Normal new car stuff since things haven't dried fully.

Here's how they look with the wheels. I prefer the stub nose ones since they seem to be built stronger than the others. They might be a little long but I don't think it's excessive.

Harold, since you have a 1M can you tell there's a CDV when driving? I can't find complaint with mine like the Z4MC I had previously. Didn't a company that starts with a "Z" sell a gutted CDV?

The clutch release is much more positive on the 1M than any other BMW with CDV. |
