For a week I was running MS Catless 3" downpipes with the BMW N55 catless/resonated midpipe with stock axleback. It sounds exactly like the video above, a 2011+ N55 135i with a 4" catless downpipe. Raspy as all hell, and awesome sounding. No need for a sound clip, its nearly identical so I didn't even bother taking one. |

Did you have a lot of the gas smell or did the stock muffler do a good job of minimizing it? Went that route with a previous car and if you stood near it too long your eyes would start burning, not to mention everyone thought you cut yards for a living. Little older now with a family so "ideally" I'd like to have stock sound or slightly louder with all the power of DP's and MP's.

What I don't understand about forums is I'm gonna get flack for bumping this old thread. But yet I found it searching... oh the irony.
Anyway I'm looking for a similar setup and have been scouring YouTube for a few hours now and FINALLY found a video of catless downpipes, catless and unresonated cpe midpipes, and the stock axleback. Sounds pretty sick! |
