^if that was true than you wouldn't really care about a CF roof. Substantially is a strong word for an 8 lb weight saving. Granted it's at the top so the moment arm would be slightly less, but unless you never drive less than 11/10s you'll never notice it or need it.
And lol at your bewilderment and small rant off me not having cheesy CF roof at the top of my lists of wants on a car And you do realize that the hatches are both lighter than and have a lower center of gravity than the coupes right?

LOVE IT!!! Too bad you didn't get BMW's attention a few years ago before they started working on the 1M. Well, maybe it's better that it didn't happen because the US would have missed out all together.
