Ok, is it because I am used to the v3.01 Stage2 +FMIC ST Map or does the new v4.00 Stage 2 +FMIC ST seem to flatten out at around 4k RPM?

seems weird...

Why does it have to be pouring rain today, and forecasted for the next 3??? New tires are waiting to arrive, testing these new maps will be a fun way to polish off the old ones...if I get the damn opportunity!

I am having a slight amount of oscillation at part throttle with the Stage 2+ Agressive LT map. But I think everything is still adapting maybe. I had a similar problem with 3.01, however after about 2 days of driving to and from work aggressively it became smooth as silk. I haven't logged anything yet unfortunately.

is probably because you are no longer experiencing the infamous surge, where you get a second kick at 4k.

I am going to switch over to the linear map. After some driving, the stock throttle map doesn't seem nearly as powerful as it used to.

So I had a chance to romp on it a bit today, and I am very pleased. St. 1+ Agressive LT feels really good and the surge at 3k is gone. It's much easier to modulate on a hard launch and the power just keeps building up to redline. So far so good - no issues to report.

Are you referring to the stage 1+ aggressive (beta) or the full release stage 1 aggressive? I had this problem today with the BETA stage 1+ aggressive Stock Throttle. Car essentially runs like stock and will not boost beyond 6.4 psi. IJCOS.

I'll post my datalog tonight when I get home.

I've installed v4 Stage 1 Aggressive and everything seems fine. I agree that there seems to be more power throughout the RPM range. I am enjoying it so far. No oscillation or any trouble to report. I am IEJ0S too.

So far.. Smoother power throughout the RPM's. Haven't really opened it up full throttle, but once I hit the highways, it's on!

Stock throttle or Linear? I got an email from Jason for the v401 Linear map and it's working out really well so far. Very smooth, great power throughout the RPM range. I kinda want a more sensitive throttle response in low RPMS, but I can always go into sport mode for that.

Overall very pleased, thank you team COBB.

Hey RX-BMW,

I just sent you ST mapping with more sensitive throttle. Let me know how it works out for you.

Thanks!

Stock Throttle. Has the throttle sensitivity been increased in the map Jason sent you?

Yes it has been increased a lot.

Possible issue: was driving at normal speed and my yellow oil light came on then disappeared. Not due for oil change, and car says my oil level is right where it should be. I'll see if it happens again.
