About once a week for me. Really don't have time to do it more often. It is really dirty right now....It rained last week and was supposed to rain yesterday and today but never did. I will wash it today or tomorrow, likely tomorrow. I feel like washing it too much will do more harm than good. BSM gets awfully dirty though. I live in a very tight town home right now, I have to move my car into a public area to rinse it, then back to the garage for a dry/detail spray. I will likely buy a foamer/pressure washer when I have more room. I have a good detailer too who gets it really clean.

Once per week but if the weather is nice I can stretch it to two weeks. Hand wash in Spring, Summer, and Fall. Light touch-less wash in the winter. I also get a professional detail once to twice per year depending on the overall condition of the car. It sucks trying to keep black clean but it looks so good when it is

Usually every other week...lately it's been monthly. Silver car + grey wheels + FL summer rain everyday = no motivation. I did wash it today though.

Once a month thru an automatic car wash if I have time. I am ashamed to say, I can count on one hand the number of times I hand washed it in 4 years! Just can't find the time. Just like some other posts, sparkling graphite metallic hides dirt reasonably well. But after a wash, then you really notice how beautiful the color truly is!

Since its my daily driver, I hand wash it once a week...detail spray the bird crap and dead bugs stuck on whenever I see it, and wipe brake dust away every 2- 3 days....I can't seem to keep the swirls away though! I was devistated when I saw swirls after 6 months of such anal washing...and I also use the two bucket grit guard wash method...I even use two different colored wash mitts - one for the top half of the car, hood, roof and trunk, and one separate mitt for the bottom dirtier half of the car. I find that a must-do in order to keep from spreading dirt to the hood and trunk..but then againI still seem to find swirls on sunny sunny days.
I use synwax to wax her every 3-4 months, and that does a great job at hiding the swirls for some time |

I average about once a week, depending on weather and other conditions. When we had the very bad yellow pollen dust coating everything, I had to wash it every day since it got covered just sitting parked outside for 2 hours.
Other times I've gone over a week with the car looking great, and only needing the wheels cleaned due to brake dust. I've never used the windshield washer. I can't stand the look of dirty windshield after driving in the rain, so I will always wash after driving in the rain, except if rain is forecast. My wife thinks I'm nuts, but I've been this way for over 20 years. I like the car to look perfect inside and out every time I drive it. |

I wash mine, honestly, about once every other month, or before a date with a new gal, whichever comes first.
I love the car, I treat it well, I just don't wash it a lot. I do vac & clean the interior about every other week though and clean the windows and such. The interior is pristine, the exterior is in perfect shape just dirty. No excuse really - busy but not likely any busier than anyone else. I guess I just figure it'll get dirty again so why bother. |

I haven't washed my car in about 2 weeks....it's about 100 degrees outside and I can't stand that type of heat. My car hates me.

Wash it every 1-2 weeks
Wax it whenever the old wax disappears Clay it twice a year is the plan, spring and fall. I just got it last week and clayed it today Polish it once a year. Definitely need to do it from the dealer induced holograms. But next year if its not too swirled up I will leave it for the following year to whip out my PC7424XP and go to town on it.

Use a leafblower or the like for excessive water removal and for tight areas. Also polish out the swirls with a random orbital or dual action if u have it. If you don't then contact a respected detailer to do so if you think it is worth the cost of doing so. Great to hear that you use to mitts and two bucket with grit guards....On the right track mate!
