Work is fun over at the paper mill!!! I showed my boss what I wanted to do and he said go for it, So it was a free day in the maintenance shop. I spent today in vermont looking at friggin antiques and met this crazy guy name barry who smokes grass and carves wood for a living. However, he did design a pretty cool hydraulic saw that he let me try out! But I guess thats all part of a days work. I would like to be enlightened on the pros of fermenting beans?? That is a sample from our styrofoam tank. But I bet the cellulose could begin to ferment not too long from now!

Yep.. We use it for our 6 Sigma processes. Fun stuff. It works well, if you are not just using it so that you have charts to meet a milestone. If you really want to decipher a bunch of data points.. slice n dice, it's a good tool.

Yeah all this shit is gonna make our employees despise me. Good to see someone has been through the same shit though! You ever have to gage R&R studies? I hear those bring back the worst memories! HA!

last two days have been hot as balls. I would rather be on the beach in a swim suit than behind my desk in a business suit. Although, these days, gotta be careful what we wish for I suppose.

Yesterday they made a lab-wide "conserve power" announcement over the PA. So everyone turned their lights off. It's really dark in some of the hallways. Last night, the AC barely kept up in the bedroom.
