Home at last
More than 775 miles and 5 countries...what an adventure...and just after we had an epic drive to/from Stelvio yesterday (that we thought couldn't be topped) we drove an amazing road today at some alpine park....probably the creme de la creme of the long weekend.
I know Rudi and Wade are still on the road, so I hope all make it home safe... Thanks guys for a great 52nd!

To all, thank you for a wonderful event. More important than the drive and scenery are the friendships I have made. To have the opportunity experience something like this in such rich company is a blessing. So, thank you for allowing me to participate and thanks to all for adding that immeasurable secret ingredient that made this something larger than it is.

Great to hear you guys made it safe and sound. So is everybody checked in except David and Justin? Hopefully they are just exhausted from the trip and haven't had a chance to post.
You guys already said it better than I could.....but what an amazing trip! I really think this turned out to be one of those trips of a lifetime. Bob you said it right.....we got to drive some incredible roads and saw some amazing scenery but the people made it special. I'm already looking forward to next year. Happy birthday again to Rick! And Rudy it sounds like you are doing it right over there in the Black Forest...enjoy your drive tomorrow and make sure you let us know you got back safe.

I think I spent about 600 euros for hotel, food and local gas along with about $100 in Esso gas....and I brought a family of four....a side benefit was I got to battlefield test my car in real world conditions with my own friends...not some wealthy strangers..... Money well spent.

I had such and AWESOME time guys. What a great weekend! I am so sun burned and beat from the drive. I will need a day or two to upload my pics and vid's. It was so great to meet you all and have these lifelong friendships. What a great bunch of guys to be with exploring the Alps. I would not change anything we did this weekend. What memories!!
...funniest part was when the hotel owner said most of his guests bring cloths in the trunks of their cars... you guys brought car cleaning stuff! lol And then he got his camera out to take some pics along with all of us taking pics of our cars! Take care, David

Oh yes I had the best weekend of my life! Every cent was well spend, if you guy ever do this again I’m so going with. Drove like 1060 km the most ever in 48 hours. Thanks to all you guy for letting me go with, especially you Rick and Dave for planning it doing all the work. So my lazy ass didn’t have to do anything but drive. And thanks again for letting me test drive your 1M.
Me and Andreas drove safe but fast (of course) so we got Blitzt. The Blitzer was flashing like 4 times, so I don’t know what it was doing and I had the gopro on. Can’t wait to see more of your pictures and of course the video! Ps. For the next “rally” we should participate in Gumball 3000, I only need to save like 3-4 years without spending any money. Or we just go to the ring.

I want to see the video of that (one car wide)tunnel we had a Stau in!!! And that stupid guy in that red Golf from Spain!
Yea... photos or videos just do not do Stelvio justice. The place is soooo Epic. And the view from the top of the world was AMAZING! PS: just finished detailing my car... I feel "whole" again! We drove so hard. It was like doing a HPDE and the Ring all in one at the top of the world!
