Haha, small world...
Yeah, I wonder how things are going (or not going) over there. I never hear from them. As soon as I saw mention of announcements for power conservation, I figured it was lincoln!

We dropped off our Euro Delivery 128i in Frankfurt on July 21. I have been able to track the ship every day as it made it's way from port-to-port across the Atlantic, and finally arriving in Newark last friday. Now it is in customs and I have no way of knowing how many days or weeks the wait will be and no way to track it's progress until it finally gets to the BMW prep center. A few days after it gets to the prep center it should be delivered to Inskip and I will have my new toy back.
The wait and lack of tracking information at this stage is driving me nuts!

I have to say, Phil and Andy, that one of the blessings of my project being cancelled is that I haven't been traveling lately and haven't had to drive crappy rental cars. I don't think I've ever had to drive a Kia.

Well, to continue on my work events. Cut myself with a razorblade. Got 5 stitches in my right middle finger....

When I was in high school, I once cut my index finger washing dishes. It was deep enough that they took me to the emergency room to see about stitches. And since I wasn't bleeding out, I sat there with my finger pointed out for hours before they saw me and ended up just getting a butterfly bandage. But I always joked about how funny it would have been if it was my middle finger, because I would have sat there giving the finger for hours! I have a wicked scar on that finger. amy! |

OUCH!! Sorry to hear Rachel! don't let that bugger get infected. Hope it's not on your dominant hand.
I managed to almost slice a finger off when I was 6, through the bone and all, cutting a Christmas tree out of cardboard with a utility knife (the perfect implement for a 6 y.o.). Sewed back on w/only limited sense of touch as the only issue. |

I hope the code got set because im sick of taking it to the shop and having them tell me nothing is wrong. Can autozone see if the code is set?
