Came back from Greece and added this gift that my aunt got me to my shift knob. There is an icon of panagia and baby jesus on the other side too.
I got the mati and panagia on my gti too.

Yeah the guy who got 1st was driving an FRS with RE71Rs...New tires and adding some camber up front by knocking out the alignment pin should help for next month's event
Yeah my future mod list is probably:

Stiffer swaybars
LTW-5s and RE71R 245 square dedicated wheel set
Helical LSD
Camber plates
Maybe M3 rear subframe bushings

That's a pretty complete 128i autocross STX build

Washed the car completely even though I had colon surgery on Monday. Afterwards I took the OEM spoiler off and cleaned the area (had to use liquor thinner(auto paint thinner) to get the last little bit off since heat gun plus body fill knife didn't do anything so I cheated a bit). I should have the Carbon Fiber spoiler on sometime soon. I might have over done it today

Nice! I'm still trying to decide if I want to build for STU or stick to FS. Obviously, FS is cheaper, but the car probably won't handle quite like I want it to for other events. I should probably do whatever makes me happy and not worry about being competitive in autocross, but not losing makes me happy too, haha

Finally drove my 1er after 16 days!!! It felt amazing and was a lot of fun, I thought I was in bliss with the 190E and 200E I was driving in Greece, but damn this car is too perfect for me!

Miss the JB Stage 1. In preparation for reinstallation, pulled the cowl and installed BMS Cowl Filters.

Indeed!
I can hear a little turbo spool between shifts (in the lower gears, anyway, until wind drowns it out.) A tiny bit more growl. A little more just random noise, too, but not enough to outweigh the sweetness.
Plus, it'll be much easier to play with wires and intake without having to wrestle that thing on and off.
And 10 lbs lighter!

Yeah I was amazed at how heave that thing is. And it makes it SO much easier to put in/take out a JB unit!

Pulled out the damaged TCK damper and installed all my new rear springs and some other goodies. Here's a picture I snapped while doing the job. All the new kit can be seen in the picture, a treasure hunt if you will. A more detailed post will be available as always in my build thread.

Hope for a speedy recovery.

Also, looking forward to some pics of the spoiler.

Thanks all. Things are going good, but still pain at times. I don't take pain medication but I think I should have really. I should have it attached on Sunday, just taking a few days to walk around the house and rest.

What does it sound like? Is it a chattering or clicking sound?

I've really only noticed it on an incline of some kind. Switching from P to R or P to D1 is a fairly loud clunk. Also slightly loud when slowing down from D2 to D1.

Other than that, on regular driving is a click noise, which I've read is normal for DCT

What do you mean by loud? I usually hear a clunk when I'm park on a hill or something and forget to use the e-brake, but that's more of the Diff I think making a clunk noise.

Side note, putting the spoiler on Sunday. Also going to help the old man with the last few welds on his 1974 Pontiac Trans-Am. I'll have to post some pictures of his 6/71 Roots blower. That's the next "mod" we are doing to his hot-rod.

Does Imgur let you post videos? If not I'll have to upload it to youboob lol.

Use the e-brake man. Mine does the same. Although I think it's diff related and not trans. I can't remember if our diffs lock once in park.

I always use the ebrake everywhere lol. Just a habit I guess since our driveway is a steep incline

Yeah, the clicking is normal. I don't get a loud clunk though.

I always use the ebrake as well. Habit from my manual days, which is good practice, anyway.

People in the UK seem to park only in neutral and with ebrake on, which I find totally stupid since it can fail and (manual) transmission won't.

I do it the other way, I only use the ebrake on steep surfaces.
