Dam even for a VFF600 Single setup . Either way beautiful car, I would have definitely purchased it in addition if I was not wrapped up so tight in my business.

It's always nice to see more pictures of it. As a jet black owner with 1M bodywork on the menu, your car is such a tease man.

Your car looks incredible... However i strongly dislike the wing. It looks out of place and ugly(IMO). If it were me i would have gone all the way and done an APR GT200 at the least.. GT300 even better. The wing you have looks small and non functional and not high enough to be in a smooth, non obstructed airflow to create actual down-force. The surface area looks to low and the simple fact that it is connected to the bonnet as apposed to the frame invalidates the websites claim of being tested; "Track tested at Spa and the Nurburgring".
Regardless, nice job on the conversion. Last edited by pattielipp; 08-11-2014 at 12:10 PM.. |

How did you and ilikebmxbikes deal with the internal wheel covers with the custom rear flare mod? Did you order genuine 1M covers, reuse the 135i ones or mock something up? Cheers from Australia

Initially we tried using the cloth liner from our 135i's but to be on the safe side and to prevent the odd chance that water could splash up between our mated fenders we purchased the 1M plastic wheel well liners. They are not perfect fits but are snug on our cars, this is due to our wheel wells not being exact mock ups of the 1M. What route are you going? Cheers, David |

Yes that's the part I was referring to. Early days I need to cost out the parts and then speak to a couple of shops to see which is the best route. There are a couple of BM crash experts here and also some really good rod and restoration shops so I will see what they recommend.
Also what 18" wheels and et do you recommend for gtc stick 135 hubs without resorting to spacers? Cheers Andy |
