I actually pulled mine out while I had the bumper off, ran without for several months. I just reinstalled them a couple of weeks ago-
Glad I didn't cut mine.

Bought a set of Style 68 wheels for autocross/track use. They have 245 Front/255 Rear Continental ExtremeConatact Sport tires installed so we'll see if they rub. Good news is that the full set does fit in the back seat/trunk area with the back seat folded down!

Pulled out the airbox and removed the charcoal filter, and also cleaned the mass airflow sensor. I swear, there is a hint more power and some more intake noise, easy mod to do! I also took some pictures now that the car has Eibach Springs on it.
I really need to touch-up the paint on the hood. Also, I broke 165,000 miles!!! Time for an oil change, and a coolant flush. Thoughts on the orange trim???

With the chrome window trim, the chrome-ringed kidney grilles make a lot more sense. Then - Whoa! What's up with the orange trim? Not to my taste, but if you like it, why not? Doesn't clash much worse than the silver they stuck in my dark blue car with oyster-and-black interior. Not a bad match to the gauges and displays, actually.

Seems out of place with the rest of the car's paint scheme.
To each their own.

The orange is bold! A shade darker would look better but it works somehow.
What rims are those? |

Got my door actuator in today, I knew it was gonna be a tight fit but damn you really have to yank it out of the door frame. It's nice to be able to use the door handle again lol.

Installed B12 + dinan camber plates.
Well, at least 2 front struts are in. Tackling 1 side a day! |

Dumb move on my part while washing the car. I put the power washer too close to the car and accidentally tugged on the cable and it fell and scraped my rear bumper.
Looks like I'll be buffing with maybe a touch-up paint pen next spring.

Nice looking rims, level3! The red center caps really blend well with the rest of the car. I'm not really into black rims, but on that vert, the black rims really work with the black top. BTW- I have a Crimson Red coupe. Does it irk you as much as it irks me that the bumpers and rockers don't exactly match the rest of the car color-wise?
So what did I do today? I finally replaced the cracked third brake light. I could see it wasn't the original light. It was the new style, and someone had ground down the tab on the trunk. Hopefully this one will last. I used the new softer springs, so that should help. |
