I was very iffy about the C63S have the wet clutch versus the DCT in the AMG GTS or even the 1er I had but I can gladly report that it shifts fast, AMG uses this MCT transmission in alot of applications and I can see why. It works well for what it is. Its not a dual clutch by any means but the car sees no disadvantage with the MCT and I am happy with it.

About the driving characteristics on the AMG, there is no doubt that the car is refined in how it instills confidence in your driving capabilities. The car is very tame in comfort mode and feels like a C300 would probably feel but in Sport+ and Race mode, the car is a completely different animal. With over 500 horses at your disposal the car is no slouch for sure. The car sounds particularly good with the AMG performance exhaust fitted, it has butterfly valves in the piping that give it that extra grunt.

All in all, I am happy with the car. I still have a huge spot for BMWs and would consider one again in the future. Maybe a next gen M5/6.
Wow, now that's a bad ass sedan. One sexy beast. Great color, too. Congrats. Love the sound of that brutal V8 which really puts the M3/M4 to shame with respect to both sound and interior design. I'm looking forward to finally seeing the coupe in person, though the back end of it is a lil weird in pics.

But, having put about 300 miles on a C300 a few weeks ago, trust me, that thing never moves, even in sport+ mode. Don't think it has a race mode.

Man, Christian, one day, when we have enough money to buy bugattis, we can then be the ultimate euro trash d-bags and move up in this world from our lowly BMW fashions. How I envy these guys.

OMG it's the anorexic vanilla ice duo.

Yes one day we might be rich enough and anorexic enough to be THAT cool, but until then we can only dream. Plus I'd have to totally burn off all my tattoos to fit into the Bugatti upper crust, but it'll be totally worth it. And we will then rip on all those needy Bmw drivers.

I also only wear t-shirts with drawings of my car on them. Otherwise, when we're in the cafe and not in our cars, how will people know what we're driving?

On the back, it will say, "my other bugatti is your mom."

Talk to 3002 tii as I believe he did the front control arms. Not 100% sure, though.

Just checked and indeed, he did.

Greg's right I did have it on my 1er. Great mod but if you're already lowered you might introduce more negative camber than desired. Trade off, tire longevity vs better turn-in. For everyday driving, probably unnecessary. But then again so is 90% of the stuff we do falls under this category.

Btw those prices are insane, I paid half that, maybe even less.

Chunner , you're still on stock suspension though, right? I'd do that first. I imagine 3002 tii would agree. You can have my PS if you want. =P

Yup, still on stock suspension and as silly as it sounds. I wanted the additional .75 degrees of negative camber on the front to sort of match the negative 2.3 degrees camber I have on the back. That is all. To me, the fronts look funny on stock camber settings.

Actually that was Greg sporting a wig and full make up. The real owner was in the trunk.

A wig and full make up is my normal. Was just heading out to work last night. Thanks to Kouper for letting me borrow his car, as he's our only known white convertible IS owner.

That's not a wig, that's his real hair. And I thought Greg only put dead hookers in his trunk? Is there room for both?

Um, I have not been in LA recently and I am not aware of my wife stealing it and driving it to LA ....and it most certainly will not ever sport a stupid door ding protector.

So, I guess we are back to Greg and his flowing locks or wig. He does often talk about renting fun cars from relayrides.com aka Turo just to troll for trunk mounted trophy hookers. Hmmm.

Why do you say it like it's a bad thing or shameful thing? You can't kill something that's already dead...inside.

I am the fabio of IS owners, which is why i never put the window down and have never used my sunroof. Chaz Dean's Wen has also done wonders for my shiny coat as well.

IEDEI Banned Again

Just tried to send IEDEI a message, and it bounced back as "not allowed to receive private messages." I see he has been banned again. Geez, did he cause another uproar in the 1M vs M2 debate?

Not sure we are going to be able to post bail for him again or spring him from the pokey this time......

Sheesh, I'm not putting my house up again as collateral. Perhaps we need to cut off his fingers so he can't type anymore. I still think he should be forced to drive a 2-series active tourer as punishment.

Don't understand why he keeps at it. It's not like nobody was aware of his position on 1M vs the world... it was pretty well established lol. Oh wells.
