Spent Sunday afternoon on a long drive on the German Autobahn in a rented 430d Gran Coupe. Was a good time. Was running at about 125mph when a red Ferrari was quickly approaching in my rear view mirror. Moved over, let him pass and immediately joined another BMW following the Ferrari in trail. It was a hoot. Germans were moving out of the Ferrari's way a lot faster than they were a silver BMW. According to the HUD, I Hit 252 kph, 156.5 mph before that run was over. It was a blast. Still, can't wait to get home to my 128i M-Sport. Virginia needs faster roads.

The autobahn is fun but there's not too many spots you can really open it up. My family and I had a 320D 3GT(fugly but practical) and i gave it the full beans on the way to the airport.. that thing is slow but really planted at the 130mph it's limited to.
The German backroads are really whats fun
