You should do it more often. That is a great shot!

Background looks great but the car looks even better! Damn, our cars look good!

Yours is looking especially good in the above pic!

I thought it looked great before!
Beautiful car.
Beautiful background.
Nice angle and proportion.
If it was a convertible I might steal it for my desktop!

Idk what I did wrong but for some reason the new one won't lock in place. It's way too easy to pull out now and loosens up during daily driving so I keep having to bang it down

Initially cleaned the engine bay. It really shows its 81K miles.

Don't know if they install the same way, but I had that problem when I first installed the ZHP knob on my 6MT.
I made sure it was lined up, and tapped it in place with a rubber mallet.
Never had the problem again.

When I did the shift lever install, I followed BMW SOP and dabbed a little RTV in the groove; then tapped it in with mallet. Hasn't given me a bit of trouble since.

Probably could be anywhere out here, but that sure looks like the hills east of I-505 near Winters - out toward Thunderhill.

Ah.
Waze sent me that way once when 580 was a parking lot.
Need to get out that way again - but I couldn't find the entrance!

Put new vanity plates on. Tried to repair my convertible top bits of plastic. The battery died while the epoxy was setting. Now the car won’t start. Gonna let it sit for an hour without any power draw and try again. Otherwise, this is awkward. Can’t likely open the trunk to charge the battery with the top still in flight. Ugh.

Pop the hood. On the Passenger side there is a red cover. That is the jump start pole. Just pop the cover, charge to that and a good ground.

There is a ground bolt under the hood, just like in this car, which I believe is an E9x M3.

I'm no expert either (far from it), but when they put something there to use as a ground, I say why not use it?

Because: What do BMW engineers know?
