More engine cleaning, changed the cabin air filter and the engine air filter. Looks like it was part of a mouse condo facility!

Turned down the 135i that I was looking at. It was indeed too good to be true. Inspection found multiple oil leaks, turbo leaking oil, needed 4 brakes and rotors, 4 tires. I'm sending the dealership a list of the issues they found but at this point it's more because the dealer tried to deny it and some petty part of me wants to watch him squirm over it. Just so angry about all the time I wasted, I was so excited for today. The search continues I guess. Last edited by us_gh; 02-24-2018 at 12:37 PM.. |

But you know they knew, hence the low price.
Hold out for a good one - you'll be glad you did. Luckily it isn't quite convertible season yet, so you've still got time. |

Also, I thought the airbag recall was supposed to be done before the car is sold again, especially if it's being sold by a dealer. Maybe it wasn't a BMW dealer and that's why no airbag recall done yet? If so, the airbag recall should still be done before the car is sold again. |

I made a thread for my search here:
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1469805 Not sure if that part of the forum still sees much love since they aren't sold new anymore... |

Keep wiping bird poop off the car. I intentionally don’t park under trees and they have recently been just coming to my car to shit all over it anyway. What the heck.
Meanwhile the brakes are squealing pretty bad now. Thought they had enough pad when I checked before but I guess I’ll be buying new pads anyway. Not looking forward to jacking my car up on the street and changing out the pads and fluids there. Sigh. All well. This car is wildly impractical for someone who doesn’t have any garage space or a flat area to work on their car. Heh. I bought it back when I had a carport (very unlevel but it worked...) but moved and no parking now. Sad times. We’ll see how it goes. Hope I don’t die. |

Found some new friends. Yes, we stirred-up a bit of trouble!
Thanks to Matticus91 for planning this! And yes, that is a 1M on the right! Next to my lowly 128i...

Black Grills
I was able to get and install black kidney grills today. I should be getting a quote for PPK and PE now as well. Wife wants to swap out the wheels though... We will see what upgrade happens next.
Right now I am enjoying the black grills. I don't want to admit it, but this is my first mod I have had done to one of my cars... |

Thanks for breaking it up.
Looks like awesome fun! As for me, got new 225/40 MPSS up front. Tread again! Parked outside last night. Got down into upper 20's. Felt like the shifter was lubed with broken bottles for about 5 minutes. |

Bought a 100ft long hose. Gonna finally be able to wash the thing. Lady on the front of the property won't let me use her hose or electrical outlets anymore. She got hella paranoid recently.

I found out that i need to compound the car, some scratches and water spots are too deep for apolish. Will try something by hand first, if it is not resolved or improved, then i am afraid a machine polish/pro needs the car. |
